This magnificent 8.6‑m/28.5‑ft keelboat is equipped with a furling genoa, a bimini top, a diesel engine, three berths, a bathroom, and a complete kitchen, including a refrigerator. In short, it has all the systems found on a cruising sailboat. The Zephyr 28 MK II offers the seafarer in training the necessary knowledge required to rent a cruising sailboat or to take charge of his or her own boat.
In Greek mythology, Zephyr is the personification of the west wind or north-west wind.
This 7.5‑m/25‑ft keelboat is an ideal boat for learning to sail and to perfect techniques for more advanced sailors. Its simplicity allows the student to learn how to manage the sails, operate an outboard engine and use a tiller. Because of its size, this boat responds quickly and allows the helmsman to appreciate the effect of the wind on the tiller.
